The Children’s Place in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, use product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to drive results.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting promotions, maintaining merchandise presentation, stocking, operating at the cashwrap, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment while following loss-prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with urgency and prioritize service.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with attentive service.
• Explain value and promotions, offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Improve conversion through effective selling skills.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and promote PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels with representation of sizes and styles.
• Follow merchandise presentation, signage, and display standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; support a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Guard company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance and facility needs to Store Leadership.
• Contribute to store goals with focused efforts.
• Be flexible by processing stock when needed.
