The Children's Place in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will greet customers, demonstrate product knowledge, promote promotions, manage stock, and assist at the cashwrap, ensuring a clean and organized store and backroom.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings; prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with urgent service and efficient checkout.
• Greet customers and communicate product value.
• Explain promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate on The PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow visual standards and keep the store and backroom organized.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Support loss prevention procedures and protect company assets.
• Notify leadership about maintenance and safety needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals and remain flexible with stock processing.
