Job summary

The Children's Place in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service, maintain product presentation, and help customers with sizing and replenishment.

You will handle cashwrap duties, explain the PLACE Card, and ensure a safe, clean store and backroom. A high school diploma and prior retail experience are preferred, with availability including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Respond with urgency and prioritize assisting customers.
• Explain product benefits and promotions to drive sales.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size and style availability.
• Operate the cashwrap accurately and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Follow display, signage, and merchandise presentation standards.
• Keep the stockroom neat and safe; report maintenance needs.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
