Job summary

The Children's Place in Chandler, AZ seeks a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and help achieve company goals through excellent customer service, strong product knowledge, and effective selling techniques.

You will greet customers, maintain attractive merchandise presentation, replenish stock, manage the stockroom, follow loss-prevention procedures, and provide fast, friendly checkout service with a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Explain product value and current promotions to customers and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Apply selling skills to help improve store conversion.
• Deliver fast, friendly checkout at cashwrap and explain PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a customer-ready environment and safety.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures to protect company assets.
• Notify Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
• Be flexible by processing stock as needed.
