Job summary

The Children’s Place in Milpitas, California is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, use product knowledge and effective selling techniques, and maintain merchandise presentation and stockroom organization.

You will greet customers, communicate value, handle cash at the cashwrap, assist with stock replenishment, and adhere to loss prevention and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency while prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and promote current promotions.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented; ensure clean stockroom.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, display, and loss prevention.
