Job summary

The Children's Place in Tinton Falls, NJ is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and help achieve store goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to uphold company standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, communicating promotions, restocking and merchandising, operating the cashwrap, and ensuring a clean, organized store and backroom.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet customers and provide appropriate service.
• Communicate value and promotions and handle out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to impact conversion.
• Assist at the cashwrap and educate on PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow merchandise presentation and display standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and safe; support a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance needs to Store Leadership promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused efforts.
• Handle stock processing when needed.
