Job summary

The Children's Place in Auburn, WA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to help customers find the right items.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, replenish stock, keep the store and backroom clean and organized, and follow safety procedures and loss prevention guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise and promotions
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card
• Maintain stock levels and ensure representation of all sizes and styles
• Follow merchandise presentation, signage, and display standards
• Maintain a neat, clean stockroom and safe environment
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly
• Contribute toward store goals
• Process stock as needed
