Job summary

The Children's Place in Auburn, WA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and execute effective selling techniques on the sales floor and at the cashwrap.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value and promotions, and handle out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Sell to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and explain PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow display standards and signage; keep stockroom organized.
• Perform housekeeping to company standards and support safety requirements.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures and report maintenance needs.
• Contribute to store goals and flexibly process stock when needed.
