Job summary

Daiso USA Store is seeking a friendly and energetic Retail Store Sales Associate to greet customers, identify needs, answer questions, and promote products. You will support store operations, maintain clean displays, and assist with transactions with a positive attitude.

Lead shift duties may be required, including coordinating tasks, opening/closing support, and escalating issues as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 0–2 years in retail a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales experience, sales associate experience, or similar customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, training, or shift support is a plus for Lead Shift assignments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock merchandise when low or empty.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, check, and credit card payments.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety expectations, and loss prevention practices.
• Lead responsibilities include coordinating daily shift activity and assigning tasks when scheduled.
