FirstCash Pawn in Roanoke Rapids, NC is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate who delivers friendly customer service and helps customers with sales and pawn services. You will explain loan terms, process paperwork, and maintain clean displays while meeting company and regulatory guidelines.

You’ll earn hourly pay plus commission, with benefits including earned wage access and employee discounts. The role requires a flexible schedule and a readiness to assist across store operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
