Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Texas. You will greet customers, assist with sales, loans, and pawn services, explain terms, process transactions, and maintain a clean sales floor. This role emphasizes strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to handle physical tasks and cash handling.

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.

• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$11.00 – $14.00 per hour + Unlimited Commission
