First Cash Pawn is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Brownsville, TX. The role offers $10.75–$13.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and benefits. A customer-focused approach helps customers with sales, pawns and loans while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming store environment.

You'll greet customers, explain loan terms, process transactions, and assist with merchandise evaluations. Flexible schedule and bilingual applicants are encouraged.

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.

• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
