Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Springfield, OH is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to promote memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products while helping customers plan trips and experiences.

You’ll respond to Roadside Assistance calls, assist with cashiering and ID services, and contribute to a busy team in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain value clearly.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.

Responsibilities

• Promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day.
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

• Hourly Pay: $15.54 – $19.88. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
• Monthly Incentive Opportunity: Average $162 – $389 in bonus earnings per month based on individual performance.

• Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 2PM; 37.5 Hour Work Week

What You’ll Do As a Retail Sales Associate

• Consistently promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication skills - you can build trust and explain value clearly
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings. This may include the ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
