Job summary

FASHIONPHILE in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to be the face of the brand, deliver exceptional service, drive sales, and maintain an inviting store environment. You will engage customers, help them find products, and process transactions while staying informed on promotions and policies.

Role requires standing for long periods and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-camera/media participation may be part of the role, with a base pay of $20.00/hour plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making purchase decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, product features, and store policies.
• Process sales transactions at the register, including cash handling and credit card payments.
• Restock shelves and maintain visual displays to company standards.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock receiving as needed.
• On-Camera & Media participation may be required for internal communications and marketing.

About the Opportunity

The Retail Sales Specialist is the face of the brand, providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain retail experience, develop customer service skills, and grow within the company. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and engaging customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Assisting customers in locating products, answering questions, and making purchase decisions
• Maintaining knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies
• Accurately process sales transactions at the register, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Restocking shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual displays to company standards
• Keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees
• Participating in inventory counts, stock receiving, and product tagging as needed
• On-Camera & Media Participation Requirement: As part of our retail team, associates may be asked to participate in company photos, videos, or other media used for internal communications, training, social media, marketing, or brand storytelling. This may include being featured on camera or appearing in the background of photos or video recordings taken in our retail locations. By accepting a role on our retail team, you acknowledge and agree that on-camera and media participation is a potential requirement of the job.

• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Tech savvy with the ability to work with multiple tech devices, google drive and apple products
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the sales floor

Pay Rate

This position begins at $20.00/HR for all new hires at FASHIONPHILE's Palo Alto, CA location + 1% uncapped commission.
