YOUR MISSION
- Accountable for ensuring individual performance consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective customer service.
- Provide high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
- Complete all required training programs, both domestic and global, to drive results within the store.
- Participate in Loss Prevention education, training, and awareness programs.
- Ensure Loss Prevention and Operational compliance within the store.
- Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store Management team.
- Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.
- Accurately process sales transactions at the cash desk, operate the POS system properly, handle tender forms with accuracy, and apply discounts when applicable.
- Execute and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Maintain all Visual guidelines and ensure the Store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
- Maintain the physical condition of the Store and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
- Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working and shopping environment; report any issues to management.
- Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.
The base pay for this position is $16.50 - $19.50 + Benefits (401k, PTO & discounts) (https://about.puma.com/en/careers/locations). Pay may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
YOUR TALENT
- One to two years' experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals, preferably with experience in a commission-based role; strong customer service skills; effective communication; ability to present to large groups.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds, including working at heights using ladders or stools.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of sales and stock areas; operate foot controls for mobile stock shelving; exposure to heights.
- Use of senses such as speaking, hearing, near & far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision is critical.
- Basic cognitive skills required include reading comprehension, math, writing, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.
