Role Description

The Retail Sales Associate is an on-site role based in Greater Milwaukee, responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every customer. Daily tasks include greeting customers, understanding their needs, presenting jewelry options, explaining product features and benefits, and assisting with purchases and financing options. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, keeping displays organized and secure, processing transactions accurately, and handling returns or exchanges in line with company policies. Associates support store operations by performing inventory checks, helping with store events or promotions, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals while upholding Kesslers core value of serving the customer.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and guide customers through purchase decisions.
• Basic product knowledge and learning agility to understand diamonds, engagement rings, and jewelry features and care requirements.
• Cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency, and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing and record-keeping.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, teammates, and leadership in a retail environment.
• Reliability and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as stocking, organizing displays, and handling merchandise.
