Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Fairfax, VA to help AAA members plan travel, promote memberships, and assist with insurance and financial products. You’ll respond to roadside assistance requests, support cashiering, and handle ID services as part of a collaborative team.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to use multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Pre-employment and post-employment screening including criminal, drug, and other checks.

Responsibilities

• Promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls throughout the day.
• Support cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

• Hourly Pay: $18.82 – $24.07. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

• Monthly Incentive Opportunity: Average $162 – $389 in bonus earnings per month based on individual performance.

  • Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5:30PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 1PM; 37.5 Hour Work Week

What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Associate

You will play an important role in delivering value to AAA members while supporting overall sales performance:

• Consistently promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products

• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages

• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day

• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication skills - you can build trust and explain value clearly
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings. This may include the ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
