Job summary

Total Retail Group LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Analyst to collaborate with the sales, analytics, and executive teams. You will analyze client needs and create custom dashboards in Power BI, with opportunities for sales forecasting and budget planning on data products.

You will build tools to assess the retail marketplace, automate client-focused workflows, and participate in regular client meetings to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Excel
• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of Python 3 and SQL Server
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Independent with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Willingness to learn and adapt to client needs
• Proven client service orientation
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Build analytical tools to assess the retail marketplace and client performance
• Automate workstreams that drive value for clients
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to grow client business
• Perform market and category sizing analyses for opportunities
• Analyze sales performance using predefined metrics
• Create Power BI and Excel dashboards to inform decisions
• Assist in data, report, and dashboard management and troubleshooting
• Participate in regular client-facing meetings
• Propose new analysis, segmentation, and dashboard ideas
• Provide industry insights from sources
