Job summary

Alex Lee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Recruiter to drive sourcing and screening for hourly opportunities in Lowes Foods stores across Coastal, NC and SC. The role partners with store hiring managers and supports full-cycle recruiting for seasonal and part-time roles.

You will train hiring managers on the ATS, ensure compliant practices, and represent the company at local job fairs. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

Overview

The Retail Recruiter drives differentiated talent sourcing by sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for hourly opportunities in Lowes Foods retail stores.

This role supports Coastal, NC and SC. The host should reside within those regions.

Responsibilities

• 1. Partners with Store Hiring Manager of assigned retail stores on staffing needs; posts all open positions up to Assistant Department Manager for assigned locations.
• 2. Reviews and screens candidates for all full-time roles up to Assistant Department Manager; schedules follow-up interviews with store hiring managers.
• 3. Support full cycle recruiting, including part-time roles, for seasonal, grand-opening, and triage staffing as assigned.
• 4. Assists with pre-employment process for full-time hires and part-time roles as needed.
• 5. Serves as a subject matter expert for the Applicant Tracking System and trains hiring managers as needed.
• 6. Ensures hiring practices in stores comply with Lowes Foods, federal and state guidelines, including reporting compliance-related concerns as appropriate.
• 7. Participates in job fairs, hiring, and recruiting events in assigned markets.
• 8. Completes other tasks and special assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

1-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a retail environment. Must have strong oral and written communications skills. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred. Must be able to use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
