Job summary

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is seeking a Retail Receiving Clerk to join the Purchasing team. You will receive all retail merchandise, verify against packing slips, document discrepancies, and deliver items to the correct retail shops.

This role supports accurate invoicing and stock accuracy in a dynamic resort environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or GED) and experience with Microsoft Office, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• The employee is able to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive all retail shipments.
• Verify retail merchandise against computer-generated receiving document, noting discrepancies in quantity, quality and specifications.
• Communicate any discrepancies to the retail buyers.
• Process all paperwork in a timely manner to insure prompt payment of vendor invoices.
• Process receiving documents and ticketing of all merchandise.
• Deliver all ticketed merchandise to the proper retail shops.
• Use the Track IT system to maintain delivery logs and obtain proof of delivery signatures.
• Maintain a list of received items with no PO’s and send to retail buyers regularly.
• Maintain the retail receiving area in a neat, clean, and safe manor including the restrooms.
• Adheres to performance standards and works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
