Brobston Group in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Receiving Support Associate to handle inbound merchandise, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory for the sales floor. You will ensure proper labeling and timely stocking while supporting back-stock organization and loss prevention.

The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and basic computer skills to operate inventory or POS systems, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail receiving, stock, or warehouse preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes regularly and stand or move for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow receiving procedures.

Responsabilités

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, sort items, and prepare product for pricing and distribution to the sales floor.
• Accurately record receiving and inventory transactions in the store inventory system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the receiving area and back-stock.
• Support restocking, cycle counts, and collaborate with the store team on loss prevention.
