Job summary

Sunward is seeking a Project Coordinator to serve as the retail operations SME, ensuring readiness and minimizing disruption to member services. You will work with executive sponsors to sequence initiatives, assess capacity, and align resources across branches, contact centers, and support teams.

The role requires strong project management, change management, and communications expertise, with a track record of delivering enterprise-wide improvements in retail or banking operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of progressive experience in project management, operational readiness, change management, or enterprise communications.
• Proven success leading complex cross-functional or enterprise initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to advise and influence executives and senior stakeholders.
• Retail banking operations experience or large-scale service delivery background.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, communications, or related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification strongly preferred.
• Recognized SME in project readiness, operational risk mitigation, or enterprise change adoption.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on retail operational readiness, setting standards and frameworks across initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional readiness efforts with minimal disruption to member service.
• Advise executives on operational feasibility, capacity planning, and strategic trade-offs.
• Establish and maintain retail-wide readiness metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Anticipate risks and interdependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
• Represent retail leadership in executive planning sessions and align priorities.
• Direct vendor and partner engagement to align deliverables with readiness standards.
• Design and oversee change management frameworks for sustainable outcomes.
• Lead development of communications and engagement strategies for diverse audiences.
• Own enterprise-wide change adoption within Retail and establish best practices.
