Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to fellow associates.
• Sweep and clean floors on nights with no vendor service.
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli Departments.
• Clean and organize the store mop room.
• Find more efficient ways to perform tasks and improve labor productivity.
• Follow QA daily checklists and Food Lion sanitation standards.
• Follow standard practices for cleaning hazardous waste products.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices.
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions that could cause accidents.
• Report accidents to the Manager on Duty per Food Lion procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge, neat appearance, and dress code.
• Complete CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
