Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated team member to support daily retail operations at our Hilton Head Island store. The role emphasizes customer service, cleanliness, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean floors, assisting shoppers, and following QA and sanitation standards. The associate will wear the Food Lion uniform and complete required CBT trainings to ensure safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and basic computer use.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Assist customers and be courteous to fellow associates.
• Sweep and clean floors during nights without vendor services.
• Perform weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli departments.
• Follow QA daily checklist and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and accidents.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge.
• Complete CBT and training packets.
