We are seeking a motivated, personable, and hands‑on Retail Property Manager to join a growing commercial real estate team in the Dallas area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 3 to 5 years of retail property management experience who enjoys being actively involved in day‑to‑day property operations, building strong tenant relationships, and spending time on‑site rather than sitting behind a desk all day. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, approachable, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while delivering exceptional service to tenants and property owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of retail commercial properties.
• Conduct regular property visits and inspections to ensure properties are well‑maintained and operating efficiently.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail tenants, property owners, and vendors.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant questions, concerns, and service requests.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, vendor services, and property improvements.
• Assist with property budgets, operating expenses, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
• Monitor lease compliance and assist with lease administration, renewals, and tenant coordination.
• Review vendor performance and ensure projects are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate property records and documentation.
• Take a proactive approach to identifying property needs and resolving issues before they escalat.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of commercial property management experience, with direct retail property management experience required.
• Experience managing shopping centers, strip centers, neighborhood retail centers, or other retail commercial properties.
• Familiarity with property management and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or RealPage preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working face‑to‑face with tenants, owners, and vendors.
• Comfortable conducting regular property visits and managing operations in the field.
• Understanding of commercial leases, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and property operating expenses.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
