Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Retail Production Associate in Cookeville, TN to prepare donated Softline and Hardline merchandise. You will sort, price, and produce items to meet production quotas while ensuring quality and safety standards throughout the shift.

The role supports backroom and production operations, ensuring merchandise is shop-ready and ready for the sales floor. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established production processes with consistency and attention to detail.
• Experience in retail, production, or warehouse settings is preferred but not required.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of efficient production output by keeping a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Sort, tag, price, and prepare donated merchandise for sale according to guidelines.
• Work in a quota-driven environment, balancing speed with quality.
• Support opening/closing routines and assist with material movement between production and sales floor.
