Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Arnold, MO is seeking an energetic Retail Processor to join our team. This hourly full-time role supports our mission of Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, handling donations, pricing items, stocking floors, and delivering friendly service.

The ideal candidate has no degree requirement, strong math and communication skills, and a willingness to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Mathematical skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality for sales floor, recycling, and online sales.
• Identify and price items within AMI pricing guidelines.
• Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straighten, rotate, and maintain store area cleanliness.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
• Upholds store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
