MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Retail Processor at the Jennings Store to support our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. The role involves handling donations, sorting goods, pricing, and delivering top-tier customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspect goods to distinguish quality and identify items for floor, recycling or online sales.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and keep store area clean and presentable.
• Provide positive customer service; greet, assist, and thank customers in person or over the phone.
