Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for our OFallon Store - Market Center. The role supports our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!”, while handling donations, pricing items, and assisting customers with a positive, professional attitude.

No degree is required; HS Diploma/GED preferred. Compensations include hourly pay of $15.50, full-time schedule, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management.
• Be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories for sales floor, online, outlet, and recycling.
• Inspect items for quality and suitability for sales channels.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock and keep the store area clean and organized.
• Provide positive customer service to in-person and phone customers.
• Maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow safety rules and keep walkways debris-free.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
• Monthly bonus up to $250; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, retirement plans, PTO, and paid holidays.
