Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Processor to join our Chesterfield Store team. The position is hourly full-time with a starting rate of $15.50 per hour, plus a monthly bonus up to $250.

The role focuses on donation processing, pricing using AMI software, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, strong communication, organization, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality and identify items for sales floor, recycling, or online.
• Identify and price items within the guidelines of the AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain store area cleanliness.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in-person and over the phone.
• Uphold store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Ensure workplace safety by removing obstructions and keeping walkways debris-free.
• Adhere to dress code and protect agency assets from harm or theft.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250
