Job summary
Trinity Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to provide delegated technical services, support Retail Pharmacy Services, and assist pharmacists in daily operations at our Michigan facility.
The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of retail pharmacy tech experience, and an active Michigan license; certification is preferred. Expect hands-on duties in a fast-paced hospital setting with patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a retail pharmacy technician.
- Active Michigan Pharmacy Tech license.
- A Pharmacy Tech certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and collect patient information to process prescriptions.
- Process and fill prescriptions; generate labels and documents for pharmacy use.
- Operate pharmacy software, automation, cash register and related equipment.
- Review billing procedures with third-party carriers and SJMH-related groups.
- Assist with discharge prescription program on hospital units.
