Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to deliver courteous service to patients in person and by phone. You will use the pharmacy software to input and analyze data, and assist the pharmacist in preparing prescriptions.

You will also handle cash, prioritize orders, and help manage inventory daily. Per diem work may be required during operating hours, with daytime shifts in a per diem capacity.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CT technician registration mandatory.
• PTCB certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides efficient service to patients in person or over the phone.
• Inputs, retrieves and analyzes data in the pharmacy system.
• Prepares prescriptions under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Prioritizes prescriptions according to need and workload.
• Manages cash handling and completes day-to-day retail transactions.
• Tracks inventory and assists with daily ordering.
