Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician for day shift in Connecticut. You will follow prescribed procedures, assist in processing prescriptions to ensure prompt, accurate, and safe filling, and prepare various medications under supervision.

Responsibilities include efficient patient service, data entry in the pharmacy system, proper cash handling, and daily inventory tracking. Per diem hours apply during operating hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CT registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Previous experience strongly preferred.
• National PTCB certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required within 1 year of date of hire.

Description

Come join our Retail Pharmacy team at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England! We are part of the nationwide Trinity Health family bringing compassionate care to our communities.

You would be responsible for following prescribed procedures, assists in processing physician prescriptions to ensure medications are promptly, accurately, and safely filled. Prepares various medications and assists supervising pharmacist. Assists with patient questions and service. Maintains records related to drug use and charges.

Requirements

Pay Range

$18.70 - $28.05 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
