The Towers Outpatient pharmacy at Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Technician for full-time day shifts. This role supports dispensing, labeling, and billing while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with pharmacists, handle third-party billing, and assist with discharge prescriptions, ensuring timely and compassionate patient service in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a retail pharmacy technician.
• Active Pharmacy Tech license through the State of Michigan is required.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect patient information for prescriptions.
• Process and fill prescriptions; generate labels and documents.
• Operate pharmacy software and cash register; manage supplies.
• Handle billing with third-party carriers and insurers.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance for audits.
• Communicate with patients and staff; refer complex cases to a pharmacist.
• Support discharge prescription programs and maintain clean work areas.
