Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician for the day shift. The role supports the Walgreens operated Towers Outpatient Pharmacy, handling prescriptions, labeling, and patient assistance.

Responsibilities include operating pharmacy software, assisting with discharge prescriptions, and ensuring accurate billing with third-party payers. MI licensure and one year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a retail pharmacy technician.
• Active Pharmacy Tech license through the State of Michigan is required.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Tech preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and Health System personnel; compile patient information to process prescriptions.
• Process and fill prescriptions; generate labels and documents for patient use.
• Operate pharmacy software, automation, cash register and related equipment.
• Handle billing procedures with third-party insurers in a timely manner.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with state/regulatory requirements.
• Assist with discharge prescription program and coordination with staff.
