Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a capable Pharmacy Technician to support our retail pharmacy operations. Under general supervision, you will assist pharmacists in filling, processing and packaging prescriptions and deliver accurate patient service on day shifts.

Candidates should have a minimum high school education, active Michigan Pharmacy Technician licensure, and good interpersonal skills. Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred to help ensure smooth patient care.

Qualifications

• Basic typing and keyboard skills.
• Able to perform basic bookkeeping skills.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and/or patients medical care team.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in filling, processing and packaging of prescriptions.
• Performs clerical and technical duties to support the operation of the retail pharmacy.
• Adheres to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of Trinity Health.
• Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Maintains a high school graduate or equivalent status.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
