Job summary

Advocate Health in Green Bay, WI is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for 20 hours per week. Mon-Fri 7am-7pm with weekend and holiday rotations. Responsibilities include customer service, insurance verification, data entry, labeling, and cashiering.

Experience in a retail pharmacy and an active PhT certification as required; licensure per Wisconsin rules may apply. This role supports department initiatives and patient care across Aurora Health locations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Typically 1 year of experience in Pharmacy Technician in retail.
• Pharmacy licensure/certifications as applicable.
• May require immunization/BLS certifications as per WI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and clerks on duties per standards.
• Process customer information, insurance verification, and labeling.
• Dispense and deliver medications; operate pharmacy systems and automation.
• Handle insurance and third-party billing including prior authorizations.
• Support diabetic footwear fitting and related insurance billing where applicable.
• Train and share knowledge with teammates and students.
