Job summary

Inova Retail and Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday - Friday, rotating shifts. The position is available at 3901 Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly, VA 20151.

Qualifications

Work schedule: 8-hour shift, days/evenings rotating, every other weekend.
Education: High School or GED.
Certification: VA Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy intern license; BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Review, process, and dispense medications and supplies under pharmacist supervision.
Maintain temperature logs and clean equipment per policy.
Monitor inventory and address out-of-date products and log appropriately.
Enter prescription information into the computer, including insurance billing and basic problem resolution.
Prepare medications by counting pills, labeling bottles, and packaging for clients.
