Inova Fairfax Hospital – Heart and Vascular Retail Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be full-time rotating shifts: days/evenings Monday - Friday, every other weekend. Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in VA or Pharmacy intern license; BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Experience or certification specifics are preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assist Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain temperature logs and clean equipment per policies.
• Check inventory for out-of-date products and record expirations.
• Enter prescription data including patient, drug selection, and insurance information.
• Prepare medications for clients by counting pills and labeling bottles.
