The Retail Pharmacy Technician obtains new patient’s clinical and prescription plan coverage information, reviews new prescriptions, and/or prescription data. This position is compliance-critical and requires responsibility for ensuring continual adherence to all division, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Erie County Health Department - Cleveland, Ohio
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Typically requires at least two (2) years of responsible ambulatory pharmacy experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Certification from a national organization such as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent is required. State certification is acceptable if competencies meet or exceed national standards.
