The Retail Pharmacy Technician obtains new patients’ clinical and prescription plan coverage information, reviews new prescriptions, and/or prescription processing. This position is compliance-critical and requires specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Erie County Health Department - Cleveland, Ohio
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Typically requires a minimum of two (2) years of directly related, progressively responsible ambulatory pharmacy experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Pharmacy technician certification from a national organization such as the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent is required. State pharmacy certification is acceptable if core competencies meet or exceed national standards.
