Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy in Texas seeks a certified Pharmacy Technician to join our fast-paced retail team. You will process prescriptions with RxEVO, verify patient details, manage third‑party adjudication, and assist with inventory and daily operations to maintain accuracy.

You will promote superior customer service under the 'Greet, Ask & Thank' standard, support immunization scheduling, and ensure PHI privacy while following SOPs and 5-S principles.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration with continuing education every 2 years
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Retail Certified Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Experience in fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of RxEVO and SOPs
• Advanced communication and telephone etiquette
• MS Office and pharmacy systems proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and uphold service standards (Greet, Ask & Thank)
• Manages exception station and resolves third‑party issues
• Process prescriptions using RxEVO; verify patient information and input into system
• Coordinate Rx screening events, flu shots, immunizations and related activities
• Maintain Rx screener status and participate in screening events
• Assist with pharmacy operations tasks (recalls, stock returns, communications)
• Order and manage inventory; process invoices daily
• Review warehouse and DSD orders; check deliveries for accuracy
• Maintain automated prescription processing equipment (Kirby Lester, ScriptPro)
• Apply computer troubleshooting and prescription application overview
• Process RxIMS reports and ensure compliance and accuracy
• Compliance with HIPAA and 5-S, and Pharmacy Standards Review
• Return to stock procedures and shelf organization
• Support Pharmacy Manager with facility maintenance and upkeep
