Job summary

Banner Health, based in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a Fulfillment Center Retail Pharmacy Technician to fill, pack, ship medications, and support automated dispensing systems. Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification, OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• 0–2 years relevant work experience.
• Ability to attend and complete 160 hours of on-the-job training.
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations with a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and input into the system.
• Prepare, dispense, and compound medications under supervision; deliver to patients.
• Answer phones, accept prescriptions, and communicate with patients.
• Assist with inventory, maintain a clean work environment, and support other duties as assigned.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and perform other tasks as needed.
