Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead a Walgreen store operations, including retail and pharmacy, focusing on customer experience, profitability and asset protection. You will supervise opening/closing, merchandising, inventory and staff development, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include coaching team, scheduling, analyzing KPIs, and driving sales growth while delivering a distinctive customer experience and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or pharmacy assistant in applicable regions.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including extended days, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to supervise store and pharmacy operations, including safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises operation of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members.
• Monitors and analyzes customer service and develops action plans for improvement in retail and pharmacy.
• Manages merchandising, inventory trends, stock levels, and reduces shrink through loss prevention.
• Analyzes financial and performance data and drives sales growth while controlling costs.
• Leads hiring, training and performance management of store team and pharmacy staff.
• Ensures compliance with laws, corporate policies and company procedures; maintains safe, clean store environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management

Pharmacy technician registration/licensure
