Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred.
• PharmD or B.Pharm degree required.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate business strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business and promote script growth through MTM and immunizations.
• Partner with the District Manager to control inventory, monitor weekly sales, and order stock.
• Align pharmacy performance with department metrics to maximize efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling.
• Supervise and train pharmacy associates, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized work environment.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and use references to manage prescriptions.
• Oversee ongoing staff development to reduce turnover.
