Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist pharmacists under supervision, and process prescriptions. You will handle checkout, maintain shelves, and support inventory and merchandising in a fast-paced store environment.

Applicants should have retail experience, strong math and computer skills, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends. PTCB certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision and use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Process prescriptions, verify accuracy, and help maintain workflow in the pharmacy.
• Maintain clean, stocked store shelves and well-merchandised displays.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and other customer service tasks as needed.
• Support Pharmacy Department on inventory management and related activities.
