Job description

Environmental Project Manager/BUSTR Risk Assessor

We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager/BUSTR Risk Assessor to join our team! This position supports our Cleveland or Columbus, OH teams but can be based anywhere within the US. Join us to contribute to impactful environmental projects.

Job responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as a technical resource for the Major Petroleum Portfolio.
  2. Completing upper-level BUSTR reporting, including Tier 2 Calibrations, Tier 3 Evaluations, MCAs, etc.
  3. Being an expert in risk assessment, including fate and transport modeling.
  4. Assisting clients with compliance to local, regional, state, and federal regulations related to BUSTR.
  5. Having a Bachelor's degree in any science or engineering field.
  6. Possessing 5-8 years of relevant experience, including BUSTR environmental site investigation and remediation.
  7. Extensive experience with BUSTR fate and transport modeling and site-specific target level generation.
  8. Experience with health and safety requirements implementation and supervision.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and report writing/editing skills.
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  11. Ability to pass initial drug screening and a five-year motor vehicle background check.

Technical requirements:

  • Understanding of BUSTR Rule sets.
  • Experience with Fate-Transport Modeling is a plus.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
