Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Pharmacist to lead the designated site’s retail pharmacy operations in Houston. You will dispense and counsel prescriptions, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, Texas license, and 2+ years of retail experience; strong communication, accuracy, and customer service. Travel between locations may be required; competitive benefits apply.

• Communication with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties, inform policies, train, and assist with performance appraisals.
• Ability to handle prescriptions efficiently under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail pharmacy operations for designated site and hourly staff in the absence of the Retail Pharmacy Manager.
• Process prescriptions and counseling to achieve high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure prompt and courteous customer service and contribute to profitability and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder points to meet patient needs and budget.
