Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in prescription preparation and to deliver friendly customer service in our Houston clinics.

You will stock OTC items, process prescriptions and sales, enter data into the pharmacy computer system, and help resolve questions for customers. The position offers hourly pay from $18 to $32, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a certified technician program or equivalency.
• Ability to read merchandise labels and process prescriptions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with pharmacy computer systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Count, pour, and package medication for pharmacist review.
• Enter prescription and patient data into the system.
• Stock OTC items and price signs; keep shelves organized.
• Process sales, handle payments, and bag merchandise.
• Refer questions to the pharmacist and assist customers.
