Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Bloomfield Hills, MI seeks a Personal Banker Associate II to complete a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service. The program leads to a Retail Personal Banker II role focused on sales and deposits, loans, and fee-based services for existing and new customers.

Responsibilities include consultative sales using NMLS compliance, interacting with partners, and achieving customer-experience and production goals while maintaining confidentiality and risk

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and other marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Refer customers to Business Partners for holistic financial solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
